What types of stone mills do you manufacture?

The Miller stone mills are professional grain-processing machines in which milling is performed using natural stone millstones.

The product range includes three main categories:

By application

Household mills — compact solutions for home use.

Commercial stone mills — equipment for bakeries, small agricultural producers and mini-milling lines. Suitable for small and medium-scale production.

Industrial stone mills — high-capacity systems designed for large milling facilities that require continuous, high-throughput operation.

By drive type

Manual — no electricity required; suitable for small volumes.

Electric — motors of various power capacities for stable, continuous milling.

Hybrid — can operate in both manual and electric modes.

By configuration

Without a sifter — for wholegrain flour.

With a sifter — for producing wholegrain flour, sifted bread-grade flour, and bran.

We select the appropriate model according to your specific technical requirements and business objectives.

How to choose the right stone mill for your business?

Before purchasing, determine the key parameters of your production:

1. Application

Home use or commercial/industrial production.
Industrial models differ significantly in output, durability and operational resources.

2. Planned production volume

Our electric mills provide 20 to 300 kg/h, so it is important to calculate your daily or monthly flour demand.

3. Type of final product

  • Wholegrain flour only — basic configuration is sufficient.

  • Wholegrain + sifted flour + bran — a mill with a sifter is required.

Our specialists will help you choose the optimal configuration to support your production processes and profitability.

What are the advantages of stone mills?

The Miller stone mills ensure gentle grain processing, preserving the maximum nutritional value:

  • retention of vitamins, minerals and dietary fiber

  • rich natural aroma and taste

  • adjustable flour fineness

  • natural construction materials (stone, wood)

  • low energy consumption

  • millstone service life — up to 20 years

  • easy to operate and maintain

  • aesthetically designed equipment

This technology combines modern efficiency with traditional milling methods.

What type of stone is used in your millstones?

The Miller uses high-quality natural stone with a high quartz content and optimal grain structure.

Advantages:

  • durable cutting grooves

  • no stone dust contamination

  • consistent fine milling

  • ideal for high-load continuous operation

This material is among the highest-performing stones used in milling equipment worldwide.

What are the dimensions of the mills?

Commercial models require 20–50 m² of installation area.

Example models:

  • D-30 (electric): 590 × 798 × 1155 mm

  • D-90S (with sifter): 3550 × 1780 × 2045 mm (2409 mm with crane)

Compact design reduces shipping and installation costs.

What is the productivity of stone mills?

The Miller manufactures models with the following output ranges:

  • 20–40 kg/h

  • 50–100 kg/h

  • 100–200 kg/h

  • 200–300 kg/h

Actual performance depends on:

  • millstone diameter and quality

  • rotation speed

  • grain hardness and moisture

  • required flour fineness

  • operator skill level

  • condition of millstone grooves

We assist in calculating the required milling capacity for your production.

How to maintain the mills?

The Miller stone mills require minimal maintenance.

After each use:

  • clean millstones with a brush or air compressor

  • inspect millstones and key components

  • avoid wet cleaning of the wooden housing

Regular maintenance:

  • renew grooves 1–2 times per year

  • lubricate moving parts with the recommended oil

  • check belt tension

Prohibited:

  • milling foreign hard objects

  • overloading the mill

  • allowing moisture to enter the system

  • operating the mill when overheated

A full user manual is included with the equipment. Operator training is also provided.

What certifications does the equipment include?

Every mill is supplied with:

  • Manufacturer’s Certificate of Quality

  • Certificate of Origin (format depends on the destination country)

  • For the EU: EUR.1 + copy of the CE Declaration of Conformity

How is shipping arranged to the USA, Europe, Asia and other regions?

Delivery is handled by international logistics partners via:

  • sea freight

  • air freight

  • road transport

We deliver to the port or directly to the client’s warehouse.

How are the mills packaged for transportation?

Each mill is packaged in a custom-built wooden–plywood crate mounted on an individual pallet.

This provides reliable protection during transportation and simplifies unloading and commissioning.

What is the production lead time?

Average production time: 3–4 weeks after order confirmation (depending on model and configuration).

What electrical standards do you support?

The mills can operate on:

  • European electrical standard

  • American electrical standard

What maintenance do the millstones require?

  • cleaning after operation

  • groove renewal 1–2 times per year

  • adherence to operating rules

We provide full manuals and training materials.

What support do you provide?

We support clients at all stages:

  • consultation and model selection

  • updates during production and delivery

  • technical support after installation

  • operator training and access to training materials

Can you customize the equipment to our needs?

Yes. We manufacture commercial and industrial stone mills with extensive customization options.

Approximately one-third of all The Miller mills have been adapted to meet specific client requirements.

If you have unique specifications, we will analyze them and provide a tailored solution.

What warranty do you provide?

We provide an official warranty for The Miller equipment for 2 years.

The warranty covers the main assemblies and components.

We provide full technical support during the warranty period and beyond.

Warranty terms are included with the equipment.

Is there dust or noise during operation?

The Miller stone mills operate safely and cleanly in a production environment.

Dust:

Industrial models are equipped with aspiration systems.

Commercial and smaller mills do not require additional dust-control solutions — directing flour into a closed container (bag, box, big-bag) prevents dispersion.

Noise:

Noise levels are moderate and compliant with milling-equipment standards.

The equipment integrates smoothly into standard production workflows
